Who loves vintage fuzz? Who loves vintage fuzz with style? The Mig Fuzz is a classic cascading amplifier circuit inspired by that classic 3 knob distortion pedal that almost everyone owns. This Mig Fuzz is a little different. Its got a mellower sound and the volume boost is not as extreme when the tone stack is bypassed. Its got a very retro feel. This one is more of a “fine wine” of distortion boxes. If you have a nice amp and are very concerned about your tone this should be perfect for you. The mix between the high and low has been adjusted so it is a little more useable and less “muffled”. I’ve also added an additional switch that turns the Mig Fuzz into a mild low volume boost pedal. When active your signal is run though the analog circuit providing a few db of gain that can be adjusted through the hi/low mix creating a warmer audio signal! The RML wooden box is worn and less distressed than usual. Very warm and dark finish.
• Sound: Retro Vintage Fuzz with classic tone stack. Less “muffled” on the low end. • Knob controls: Tone Stack Mid EQ Sweep, Sustain, Volume • Switch controls: Tone Stack bypass toggle, Mild boost toggle • Meter: Vintage Weston DB Meter. Respond to your playing, reflects volume output. When in mild boost mode meter movement is minimal.
